Assignment #4: How DOES a great photographer create great composition?

I Love the rose, especially the rose on the wall forms a good structure, It's through identity, simple, but not boring.

What I want to show in this picture is how black white forms a sharp contrast, at the same time they also complete each other as good retro colors.

The sunset is pinky and the sky is blue which Constitute a sense of hazy. Under the trees, the building looks foggy and reflected in the lake.

  1. I appreciate your ideas but most of these images seem to lack either good exposure or some aspect of the composition you describe. The lighting is difficult to figure out - for example, the rose is not well-lit and appears to be dull and out of focus as opposed - the opposite of what you were going after. The rest of the images are hard to read as the "rules" stated. Talk to me and rethink these images please.
